Highlights of the Luther Acres Book Fest on March 28. What a great time! It was fun to meet readers and talk about my books. This is something I always enjoy!
Then I focused on the springtime flowers, both outside and indoors. The pink ones are hellebores (Lenten Rose), the yellow are forsythia in a neighbor’s yard, and the little white flowers are some that bloomed on my oxalis plant.

A small bunny has been frequenting the backyard, and then a second, larger bunny appeared. Apparently the larger guy lives across the street! Their coloring is similar, but their size and tails are a bit different. The little bunny is brave enough to come close to the back of our houses. The day I surprised him, he casually strolled away, as though to say, “I’ll just be on my way, nothing to see here.” But after about 15 feet, he tore off for the woods.
Baking projects are always a joy. You’ve seen these lemon bars before, as well as the Lemon Berry Mascarpone Cake, which I decided to frost on top this time as well as fill. Not sure if that worked, so next time I’ll try some other twist.

Personal Risk is coming along. I’m waiting for cover art and negotiating for editing. I look forward to moving the book to the next step. I’m planning to push for signings later in the year, expecting that the book will be available by then. I’ll have more to report next month!
Thank you for sticking with me on this long process. And remember to enjoy the journey!
