March 2026: What Season Is It Again?

Time is going so quickly! Has it been that way for you, too? We started the month with a little greenery, but ended up with blooms! We set the clocks forward and the weather can’t decide if it’s still winter or if spring is actually here.

Then there was Saint Patrick’s Day!

The wildlife was a little more visible this month. Four deer took a little afternoon break in the woods; a bunny has been nosing around the back yard; my husband caught these two mourning doves on our back porch; and a crow has been calling from the treetops behind the house.

I got ambitious and did some baking.

I caught a photo of the not-quite-full moon. This was two days before the Blood Moon Eclipse. The moon looks pretty lonely without any backdrop!

Bill and I got to see this production of Jesus Christ Superstar. It was spectacular!

And to top off the month, tomorrow I’m attending the Luther Acres Book Fest and presenting a book talk on the places in each of the books of the Risk Series. Can’t wait!

I hope things slow down a little in April. Until next time, don’t forget to enjoy the journey!
