December 2025: Very Merry!

December has been lovely, with a bit of snow, a bit of ice, some days of sun, some days of clouds. I’ve enjoyed it all!

These are a few of the images from the past month. The sky has been fascinating, and I loved how a light coating of ice made the pine trees in a neighbor’s yard stand out.

This month’s Super Moon was the Bitter Moon, also called the Ice Moon, the Snow Moon, and the Long Nights Moon. How appropriate! It was definitely all four.

Then Santa came to visit. Do you think he was working ahead, to see where to drop off those gifts?

Because I love coffee, I have a couple coffee trees that I have been “encouraging” for over ten years. I put them outside during the summer and bring them indoors for the winter. This year we decided to light up our coffee trees for Christmas. I wore my favorite botanical coffee t-shirt for the tree lighting. And of course, I asked for coffee for Christmas…

And got it!

I gave away a few baked goodies, as well: Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies Bars, “Official” Ted Lasso Biscuits, and Cranberry Glitz Cookie Bars made it into the boxes this year.

I hope your holiday season has been as beautiful and peaceful and fun-filled as mine. 2026 will bring exciting news about book three and the local tour that goes with it.

Thanks for following my newsletter. And don’t forget to enjoy the journey!
